Vincent Gabriel
Mr Gabriel was a trainer and consultant in Human
Resource and Marketing Development. He holds MBA, B.Sc (Hons),
Dip, M, Cert. Ed. Now at 60, he is a retired
teacher-turned-freelance food and business consultant.
To date, he has published 19 books, including the
Management textbook for Junior Colleges and Success in
the Food Business, that highlights the must-knows for
new and old entrepreneurs alike.
Mr Gabriel has more than 30 years' of training
experience. He was also a former lecturer of business
studies at the National University of Singapore

Chan Pak Chuen
Mr Chan is a local entrepreneur and seminar leader in
the area of small business. He was also featured in the
local newspapers about the book, Success with Small
Business and his business philosophy.
In the 1990s, Mr Chan gave up his well-paying sales
career to become an entrepreneur. His business ventures
took him to as far as the old Soviet Union market where
he was one of the founders of the 1st Singapore Latvia
(Ex USSR Republic) Joint Venture Company. In 1995, Mr Chan decided to concentrate on his family
business, which deals with dried food. Taking to heart
also that many new businesses fail, he also decided to
give entrepreneurial seminars to aspiring business
minds. |

Goh Tianwah
Mr Goh has more than 26 years' experience in
international trade and financing having worked in an
international bank between 1956 and 1982. He published
his first best-seller, Guide To Letters of Credit in
1972, now in its 12th edition.
He retired in the early 80s and went on to establish
Rank Books. To date, he has compiled and written more
than 20 books on business and banking. His Handbook for
Businessmen: Doing Business In Singapore has become an
essential guide for both local and foreign businessmen
doing business in Singapore. Mr Goh took up photography
in 1995 and became a serious photographer. Today's
Singapore showcases some of his best photography on
Singapore and its heritage. |

Goh Kheng Chuan
Graduated from the National University of Singapore with
a Bachelor of Arts, Mr Goh went into the publishing
trade and has remained there for more than 10 years. He
is now the Publishing Manager of Rank Books.
Handbook For Expatriates: Working and Living in
Singapore and Handbook For Stock Investors by Mr Goh
have been well received by their intended audience. Both
books are revised annually. His most recent bestseller
is "Towkay Hor Seh Boh : how to become a successful
towkay which appeared in the Straits Times Bestseller
list. |

Suchittra Vasu
Ms Vasu was trained as a lawyer at Lincoln's Inn at the
Bar of England and Wales. She also holds a masters
degree from Monash University, Melbourne, in Advanced
Maritime Law. She was admitted to practice law in
several jurisdiction namely England, Australia and
Singapore. She was also a Law and English lecturer at
Raffles Laselle International Design School.
Her book, Contract Law For Business People: A Practical
Guide To Negotiating and Drafting Better Contracts, has
won the recognition and praise from the late Senior
Counsel and President of The Law Society of Singapore,
Mr Palakrishnan. |

Nicholas Tan has more than
18 years of experience in the area

George Quek has over 15 years of experience in the

George holds a MBA from The University of Texas at
Austin. He is also a certified corporate coach and

Asia Pte Ltd, a regional human capital and organisation
development consulting company with offices in
Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Mr. N. W. Teong is currently the Director cum Fund
Manager of the MasterRider, a boutique fund manager that
provides fund management, investment advisory,
consultancy and training services. Prior to this Mr.
Teong was a senior Fund Manager with Keppel
Investment Management and NLI International respectively.
Mr Teong has also been an active investment seminar
trainer with the Singapore Stock Exchange since 2001 and
Securities Investors Association (Singapore) since 2004.
Mr. Teong has more than ten years of business experience
in different industries that spanned from property,
shipping, consultancy and market research, and
commodities trading to general management, including a
three-year stint in China in the early 90s.

Goh Kheng Yew
Goh Kheng Yew specialises in Chinese art and
calligraphy, often, but not always, with a Buddhist
theme. Besides painting, Mr Goh also shows a deep
interest in Chinese literature and culture. His
knowledge of the language is largely self-taught. The
Book of Chinese Names: A Guide To Auspicious And Elegant
Names is conceptualised and written by him to deepen the
understanding and to show the prominence of Chinese
names in Chinese culture.

Ms Chia is a poet with a double major in English

poetry. She now co-ordinates the Singapore section in
HOW2, a US based e-journal of creative writing, poetry
